Indoor walking flow is a pleasant conditioning workout with inner focus. By training with an even physical strain for a prolonged period of time, you aim to get into the rhythmic flow where the movement almost takes care of itself.
The pattern of motion on the cross-trainer (walker) resembles that of running and skiing. The entire body is engaged, resulting in a wonderful flowing sensation. You also get a torso workout and balance into the bargain. Indoor Walking is also gentle on the knees, regardless of how much you choose to challenge yourself.
You train under a comfortable physical strain throughout the session. This gives you the feeling of being able to continue hour after hour. It is up to you to control the resistance settings on your own walker.
The music is often suggestive and repetitive, which reinforces the sensation of flow. The leader will guide and motivate you, but also allows you the space to find your own focus. A chance to just be: in your body and in the music.
Trying for the first time? You’ll receive a warm welcome! Due to the size of the walker and the distance between the pedals and handles, you should be at least 150 cm tall.
