Musical flow for the final sprint
Indoor Walking spurt is a playfully varied IW session that combines the best elements of distance and interval training. Perfect for those who want to work on their fitness and who like it when things happen during the session!
In this session, you will use a cross-trainer (a.k.a. a walker). The pattern of motion resembles running and skiing. The entire body is engaged, resulting in a sensation that is wonderfully flowing, but that can also be hard work if you want it! You also get a torso workout and balance into the bargain. IW is also gentle on the knees, regardless of how much you choose to challenge yourself.
The workout begins with distance training that interacts with the varying character of the music. You can then recharge during a transition so that you can tackle the intervals: the session’s final spurt! It is up to you to choose and regulate the resistance settings on your own walker. The leader guides you through the session and motivates you to find the racing pulse and the intensive workout feeling during the intervals. The motivation of the final push will see you over the line!
