Indoor walking intervall is the workout for you if you want to challenge and improve your fitness. Here you alternate between intense intervals, where you really push yourself and then recover with a gentler approach.
At Indoor walking (IW), you use a cross-trainer (a.k.a. a walker). The pattern of motion on the walker resembles that of running and skiing. The entire body is engaged, resulting in a wonderful flowing sensation. You also get a torso workout and balance into the bargain. IW is also gentle on the knees, regardless of whether you choose to take it easy or really want to challenge yourself.
It is up to you to choose and regulate the resistance settings on your own walker. The leader guides you through the session and motivates you to find the racing pulse and the intensive workout feeling during the intervals. An opportunity to blast through your limits!
Trying for the first time? Due to the size of the walker and the distance between the pedals and handles, you should be at least 150 cm tall.
